Brabin praises hardy Hatters fans who made Harriers trip

TOWN chief Gary Brabin admitted he was never certain Tuesday night’s game at Kidderminster would go ahead because of the freezing weather and praised the 111 Hatters fans who made the trip to Aggborough, writes Mark Wood.

He said: “They were absolutely different class and you could hear them all the way through the game.

“Full credit to them because we weren’t confident the game was going to be on in the morning.

“We’ve been training and we’ve been travelling back listening to the report of whether it was on or not.

“We’ve tapered it down a little bit when the game was announced on and we never expected many fans to turn up as well.

“But they were fantastic and got right behind the lads from minute one.

“It’s always pleasing when you get the right result and right performance to back that up.”
