
The Skrill Premier leaders took 1,991 supporters to Liberty Way as they witnessed Luton romping 11 points clear of the chasing pack.
He said: “I said it when I first joined, I was a bit overwhelmed with how well this club is supported as I didn’t really realise it.
“I played against them a few times, but didn’t realise they had the capability to take in excess of 2,000 people away from home on a Saturday away at Nuneaton. It’s incredible.”
Boss John Still added: “They’re unbelievable, absolutely unbelievable and I’m really, really pleased for them.

“I hadn’t been here long, but I don’t think the atmosphere around the ground was fantastic.
“I know they’d had a lot of disappointment, but gradually we’ve made supporters part of our team and it’s going to be key.
“The stronger the team, the stronger the team, I know it sounds silly to say that, but they’re a massive part of our team.”
