Benson admits bouncing back against Chester was vitally important ahead of tough games on the road
Bouncing back from Monday’s home disappointment to Woking was massively important according to experience striker Paul Benson as Town triumphed 3-0 at home to Chester on Saturday, writes Mark Wood.
It was Luton’s first defeat in 28 games and their first home league loss of the season.

Hide AdBenson said: “It was really, really important. We’ve got two tough away games coming up so it was vital today that we got three points at home, especially after Monday night and the disappointment from that.
“I think we done really well to get the three points, again it wasn’t a classic performance, but it was a winning performance and we’ll take that at this stage of the season.”
