Banton, a member of Hatters’ U18s squad then went on to set up the visitors’ third and fourth goals, showcasing his talents to Town’s watching backroom staff.
First team coach Hakan Hayrettin said: “Zane is someone since I’ve come to the football club, I’ve made the gaffer aware of.
“He’s one that we’ll be keeping a very close eye and I keep going back and telling the manager he’s got something.
