Antwi joins the crew at Gimsby

EXPERIENCED Hatters defender Will Antwi has joined Blue Square Bet Premier rivals Grimsby Town on loan until the end of the year.

The 29-year-old was signed on a short-term contract after a successful trial and manager Gary Brabin recently admitted his future was most at risk out of Luton’s stars.

Capped once by Ghana, the former Dagenham & Redbridge man signed a six-month deal at Kenilworth Road in the summer.

Antwi has gone straight into Grimsby’s squad for their trip to Kettering Town on Saturday.

The 6ft 1ins centre-half has played 12 times for the Hatters, scoring twice in successive games against Southport and Mansfield.
