All the odds as Luton visit Southport
The sides did, of course, meet on the final day of the 2012/13 season and the Hatters ran out convincing 3-1 winners despite going a goal down inside the second minute.
John Still’s men have had a very good pre-season with eight wins from 10 games and are 7/2 joint favourites with Forest Green for the Conference title having been backed from 9/2.

Hide AdYes the Hatters have been well-supported previously and there have been a number of false dawns, but this squad looks ready for a concerted crack not only at promotion but the title.
Promotion is once again the sole objective and we bet 7/4 that Luton Town are back in the Football League next season.
Former Villa full back Alan Wright takes charge at the Merseyrail Community Stadium and they have no fewer than ten new faces at the club all trying to impress their new boss who was small in stature but a cracking player.
It will be interesting to see who Still starts with up front but in our first goalscorer market we have Andre Gray at 5/1, Jon Shaw 6s and Alex Wall at 13/2 although the latter is unlikely to be fit having got a knock in Monday’s 4-2 win over Thurrock.

Hide AdGray is 10/1 to be the League’s top scorer the same prices as Cambridge’s Adam Cunnington with Adam Mangan (Forest Green) at 14s; we will be updating the market throughout the campaign.
I’m not convinced the Even money will last and that must be the recommendation with Grimsby (8/15) at home to Aldershot and Forest Green (3/5) v Hyde United; we are paying an enhanced acca of 4/1 for the three Conference favourites to oblige and that looks the value.
Meanwhile, the odds for the Southern League Division One Central title have been announced with Dunstable Town third favourites.
Odds: Slough Town 11/4; Royston Town 6/1; Dunstable Town 10/1; Rugby Town 10/1; Kettering Town 12/1; Daventry Town 14/1; Beaconsfield 16/1.
