All the odds as Hatters travel to Lincoln

Luton Town travel to Sincil Bank on Saturday looking for a third successive win as the Hatters were much too good for Southport at Kenilworth Road.

That resultand moved them back up to fourth place in the table, four points behind leaders Forest Green who travel to the Racecourse Ground to meet third placed Wrexham on Saturday for the game of the weekend in the Conference.

The Hatters are our 9/4 favourites at BetVictor (from 11/4) for the title after their last couple of wins with Forest Green 7/2, Wrexham 5s and Newport County 8s.

Paul Buckle will be desperate to maintain their run at Lincoln with his side a shade of odds on at 5/6 with Imps 14/5 and the draw at 23/10; the hosts have won three of their six home fixtures in the league this term but it should be noted that those games were against the clubs currently 20th, 21st and 24th in the table.

This is a game where a point would certainly be two dropped for the visitors who should really have too much firepower for City who looked very ordinary against Forest Green in front of the cameras on Friday evening.

If Luton really are 11/10 chances for promotion they ought to win and with a week to recharge batteries I would be disappointed if they didn’t come away with the points

Stuart Fleetwood (8) is 4/1 favourite to be the division’s leading goalscorer with Hatters oldboy Aaron O’Connor (9) next up at 5s and Matthew Barnes-Homer (7) at 10s. Scott Rendell’s brace against the Sandgrounders took his tally to five and he is into 16/1 from 33s.

In the Premier League I expect Southampton (7/4) to win their second game of the season at home to Fulham; the Craven Cottage outfit are not the best of travellers and there are goals in this Saints side.

Liverpool look as if they are over what ailed them earlier in the season and should have enough for a resilient but limited Stoke side and if Arsenal can cope with West ham’s aerial threat they should be too good for the Hammers despite their excellent win at Loftus Road on Monday.

Sunday’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe is one of the great horse-races of the year and we at BetVictor are paying quarter odds four places on the race; three-year-olds have won seven of the last eight renewals and if he gets the green light to run Camelot would be the selection despite his defeat in the St Leger last time.
