All the odds as Hatters travel to Hereford

Luton Town continued their winning ways with defeats of Lincoln City and Woking in the last seven days and the Hatters certainly played their cards right in thrashing the latter at Kingfield on Tuesday, writes Charlie McCann.

John Still’s men are now unbeaten in six at home and they must make their home a fortress if they are to return to the Football League.

Mark Cullen is now 16/1 to be crowned Conference Top Goalscorer after picking up four goals this week and whilst we should not get ahead of ourselves (Woking odds on at 4/5 to be relegated) there are more encouraging signs at Kenilworth Road and the Hatters price for the title has halved in recent weeks from 8s to 4/1 and for promotion from 7/2 to 15/8 at BetVictor.

Unbeaten Cambridge remain, in my opinion, the side to beat and they are our 7/4 favourites for the title.

Adam Cunnington (5) is 6/1 favourite to be the Conference top scorer this season with Nuneaton’s Louis Moult (9/1) at 7s and 14/1 Bar.

Luton travel to Hereford this weekend and John Still will be desperate for his side to maintain their upward curve and look good value at 6/4 to make it four on the spin with the Bulls 2s and the draw at 12/5.

The manager is likely to be able to call on the services of both Alex Lawless and Paul Benson although injury, and not suspension, prevents Alex Wall entering his thoughts for the weekend.

Hereford are always a tough nut to crack at Edgar Street of course and 10 of the 15 points they have picked up so far this term have come in front of their home supporters including a dour, narrow 1-0 win against Lincoln midweek.

In 11 games played this season they have scored 13 and conceded 13; a month ago you would safely say the game would see fewer than three goals but that was before the Hatters found their shooting boots.

That said I still think it will be a tight game and the 10/11 for two or less goals is the call with 1-0 for Luton the call at 15/2.

Cullen is 6/1 to score the opening goal and continue his fine run of form and 15/8 to find the back of the net at any time during the 90 minutes; I can’t see both Luton and Cambridge (away to Wrexham) winning this weekend and am hoping this might be a pivotal Saturday in the title race.
