All the odds as Hatters host Welling

Hatters ensured they went through their lengthy run of away games without defeat in the league last week as they drew 1-1 at Chester.

John Still will have been disappointed leaving with just a point however, leading through an early Andre Gray strike but being pegged back immediately by Chester’s Gareth Seddon. Gray’s strike was his seventh league goal of the season and despite being six behind Conference top scorer Connor Jennings, remains fancied at 16/1 to bridge the gap, team-mate Paul Benson is 20/1 on five league goals and Luke Guttridge 50/1 with his tally of six.

Conference leaders Cambridge slipped up when throwing away a two goal lead away at Barnet to draw 2-2, however the U’s remain in pole position and are the even money favourites with BetVictor to win the title, with their home form being utterly flawless.

Richard Money’s men have turned Abbey Stadium into a fortress; nine from nine since the start of the season and it seems fair to say anyone who finishes higher than them are very likely to have finished top of the pile.

The Hatters are 9/2 to win the league, Kidderminster the 7/2 second favourites and 8/1 bar those.

Luton remain at 6/4 to achieve promotion back to the Football League, Cambridge the 2/5 favourites.

Town’s unbeaten run now stretches to 11 Conference games and it would be something of a shock if the run was to come to an abrupt halt at Kenilworth Road on Saturday against visiting Welling United.

The Wings are just six points behind in the league and knocked Luton out of the FA Cup just two weeks ago so Still’s men have a score to settle.

BetVictor make Hatters 4/6 to bag another three points, Welling 22/5 and the draw 14/5 with Luton 1/4 in the draw no bet market, hopefully extending their unbeaten streak to 12.

Hatters’ pair of Benson and Gray will be expected to lead the line once more, the latter preferred at the prices; 5/4 to open the scoring and 6/5 to score anytime in the 90 minutes.

Paul Benson the 7/2 favourite to score first and even money to score anytime.

The Kenilworth Road faithful should be in for a comfortable 90 minutes, as such at the 13/8 for a Hatters half time/full time win strikes a very appealing with BetVictor, similarly the correct scores; 2-0 at 8/1 and 3-0 at 14/1.
