Hatters to face Cambridge United at Bedford Town

Luton Town have confirmed their Final Third Development League clash against Cambridge United next Tuesday will be staged at Bedford Town FC.

Hatters have been using Hitchin Town’s ground for their last few matches, but have opted to switch and head to the New Eyrie Stadium, which can be found in Meadow Lane, Cardington,

Kick-off is at 1pm and Hatters’ season ticket holders can gain free entry, with prices for non-season ticket holders are £4 for adults and £2 concessions.

A statement on the club website said: “With a large fanbase of Hatters in the north of Bedfordshire, the two clubs felt the switch would be ideal – and enable supporters in the vicinity of Bedford to catch a midweek development squad match.

“Everyone at Kenilworth Road is grateful for the Eagles’ generous suggestion of hosting this fixture and hopefully there will be a good turnout from our Bedford based supporters.”
