The Walnut Boys saw off Oadby Town on Saturday with goals from Ashley Fuller, Robbie Goodman, Sam Macrae and Dom Marsala, before beating Eynesbury Rovers 3-0 on Tuesday night, Jamaine Ivy, Goodman and Seb Simpson on target.

Rovers now host Boston Town this afternoon, with leaders Leicester Nirvana at Eynesbury Rovers.

If Kempston and Nirvana draw or lose, the Walbut Boys will be crowned champions, as Leicester are level on points, but have a goal difference of plus four.

Joint boss Jimmy Stoyles said: “It’s all down to the last game of the season now.

“Lets ensure we do our job first and get the win on Saturday and see if Eynesbury can get something from their game with Nirvana.
“The team is in real good form, keeping clean sheets and scoring goals and playing with a purpose.

“A special mention goes out to our defence and goalkeeper. This season they have been the foundation of everything we do, only conceding 31 goals in 41 games and keeping clean sheet after clean sheet.”
