Bedford Town have appointed former Barton Rovers boss Dan Kennoy as their new manager.
The 35-year-old, who replaces Craig Adams after he left the club recently, spent six years at Tottenham Hotspur football academy, training under Spurs 1961 double winning full back, Ron Henry.
He was signed for Barton Rovers in 2001, before becoming manager at FC Welwyn in the Welwyn & Hatfield Sunday league, taking the side from the league’s Division Four to the Premier Division.
Kennoy then returned to Sharpenhoe Road in September 2010, when the side were languishing in 21st position, as he took them up to 12th.
After consolidation, he won the North Beds Cup and the Bedfordshire Intermediate Cup, before steering Barton to the brink of the play-offs in 2013-14.
