Curtain comes down on County League season
THIS weekend’s action starts tomorrow (Friday, May 4) when at The Hollow, home of Potton United FC, Ickwell & Old Warden take on Sandy in the final of this season’s Centenary Cup which kicks off at 7.30pm.
The following day then brings about a scheduled fixture list of nine games, the highlight of which should be the re-scheduled Bedfordshire FA Junior Cup Final between Sundon Park Rangers and Sundon Park Rangers Colts which is now taking place at AFC Kempston Rovers’ Hillgrounds complex with a 1.30pm kick off.

Hide AdLeague action in division one ends for the season at Harvey Close, Caldecote Reserves and Henlow going head to head in local derby action to battle out who finishes above each other in the final league standings.
Meantime, in division two action comes in the form of just a single game when Pavenham host Co-op Sports in Mowsbury Park.
Whilst division three action comes in the form of an 11.00am kick off for the clash between Goldington and Riseley Sports which sees the home side concede home advantage and travel to Gold Street and in Hillgrounds, Royal Oak Kempston receive a visit from Potton Town for a 2.30pm start.
In division four there are four games, its an 11am start at Keysoe Road for Thurleigh when they host champions Bedford Park Rangers in their quest for the points to seal second spot and just 60 minutes later at The Bedford Hockey Centre, Bedford Panthers play hosts to Dunton A.

Hide AdThe final two encounters due to kick off at 2.30pm. At Rectory Road, Shefford Town & Campton A host Dinamo Flitwick and at Hillgrounds, Goldington Hammers receive a visit from Stewartby Village.
Action then moves onto Bank Holiday Monday May 7th when its a 3pm kick off for the final of this seasons Britannia Cup between Oakley Sports and Shefford Town & Campton which is being played at Second Meadow, home of Biggleswade United FC.
Whilst just down the road at Harvey Close, division four action starts at 2.30pm between hosts Caldecote A and their visitors Bedford Panthers.
Then on Wednesday 9th May, at The Hollow, Potton United Reserves host Elstow Abbey in a 7.45pm kick off and in division three at Wrest Park, Wilshamstead Reserves will be the visitors to face hosts Sundon Park Rangers Colts.

Hide AdAction for the season is then due to conclude on Saturday 12th May at the Bedford Hockey Centre where Bedford Panthers host Shefford Town & Campton A.
Please note any amendments to the above fixtures, venues and kick off times will be posted onto the league website www.bedfordshirefootballleague.co.uk alongside news of the rearranged dates for the league games postponed on Saturday 28th April and the previous evenings postponed Watson Shield Final between Bedford Park Rangers and Goldington.
