In the Premier Division this weekend there are five games with Shefford Town & Campton at home to local rivals Arlesey Town Reserves. The hosts will be looking to retain their season’s unbeaten home ways and that would take them to top spot against a Blues side that come in search of their third win on the bounce.

At Miller Road, Bedford Hatters will host Blunham for a third time this season. They have already beaten them twice on their own patch and a third win looks on the cards and that would keep the Hatters on the fringe of the championship race.

Renhold United are on a nine game unbeaten league run and should make it double figures when bottom club Woburn pay a visit. They have won just the once on the road all season. Second from bottom Dunton are at the Carlsberg Stadium where they host Sharnbrook.

And finally at Steppingley Road, Flitwick Town entertain Wilshamstead and with Town having won just three times at home this term, the visitors will start as favourites as they’ve lost just twice away from home!

The top game in Division One is on The Green where Ickwell & Old Warden (who are still unbeaten at home) face local rivals Sandy. The visitors will be looking to avenge a defeat at Bedford Road back in October.

Bedford Sports Athletic are at home against bottom of the table Meltis Albion while Marston Shelton Rovers have remained unbeaten in their last 12 league outings and they head for Groveside and a meeting with hosts Henlow.

Over at King George VI Playing Fields, Kings AFC will start firm favourites to collect the points against AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College Reserves who have lost their last six away from home.

Lea Sports PSG are unbeaten in their last five and could well win again against visitors Luton Boys at Pirton as they have won just the once on the road this season.

The final action in this division is at Greenfield Road where Westoning will seek only their second home win of the season when they host FC Meppershall.

The Division Two programme comprises just three games. In Stockwood Park you would expect hosts Sundon Park Rangers to collect the spoils when visited by local rivals Stopsley Park. And that also applies to Pavenham when they receive a Mowsbury Park visit from bottom of the table Great Barford who are yet to win a game this season.

The third game comes over at Solway Road North, where Co-op Sports beaten just twice on home soil this season host a M & DH Oakley side that has won two of its last three away outings.

For two other division two clubs, the action is in the first round of the Jubilee Cup. At The Warren, hosts Elstow Abbey take on Marabese Ceramics for which a home semi-final tie against Pavenham awaits the winners.

In Division Three, leaders Renhold Village – who have won their last six outings – make their way to Weston Park to take on an Eastcotts AFC side that has been beaten just twice on home soil this season.

Second place Goldington defend their unbeaten home ways of eight games in Mowsbury Park against the visiting Sundon Park Rangers Colts.

Of the other serious promotion candidates, two go head to head at Crawley Road with a meeting between hosts Cranfield United Reserves and the visiting Riseley Sports who have yet to be beaten on the road this season.

The fifth candidates are Stevington who will be looking for a fourth successive home win when visited by Flitwick Town Reserves who have yet to win away from home this term.

Elsewhere at Jubilee Playing Fields, Wilshamstead Reserves will be looking for their sixth successive home win when Potton Town come calling while at Cutler Hammer, Kempston Hammers Sports will fancy their chances of collecting the spoils when visited by a Westoning Reserves side whose last league win was some 10 games ago back in mid-November.

The final action is the Hillgrounds clash between hosts Royal Oak Kempston who have failed to win any of their last six home games and Dunton Reserves who have lost all of their eight away league games.

Division Four leaders Bedford Park Rangers are at Mowsbury Park where they host Dinamo Flitwick. Second placed Marsh Leys – who remain unbeaten on the road this season and are currently on a seven game winning run – make the short trip to Stewartby Village who are still very much in the promotion race themselves

Of the other serious promotion candidates, Thurleigh will look to take their unbeaten home ways up to five games when visited at Keysoe Road by a Shefford Town & Campton A side that has lost its last four outings.

Ickwell & Old Warden Reserves are unbeaten in their last five starts and they head for local derby action at Bedford Road Recreation Ground against a Sandy Reserves side who will be seeking their third home win on the bounce and a season’s double over their rivals.

At the other end of the table, there is a clash between the bottom two at Horseshoes Close where hosts Dunton ‘A’ take on a Goldington Hammers side that has lost its last five matches.

Tomorrow’s final fixture sees Wootton Village hosting Clifton Reserves at Wootton Recreation Ground, the visitors looking for their third win on the bounce.
