Their Beds Senior Trophy final against Kempston Town and Bedford College at Barton Rovers was due to be played last Wednesday but that was postponed in the afternoon due to a waterlogged pitch.

On Saturday they were due to travel to play Woodford at Ware Town’s ground, but that was called off on Friday due to the rain.

So they now face a heavy schedule of four matches in a week.

They are due to go to Southall on Saturday and that is followed by home games with Hillingdon on Tuesday, Crawley Green on Thursday and Codicote on Saturday week.

After that they have ben pencilled in to go to Enfield to play Brimsdown on Monday.
Ampthill currently sit 12th in the SSML Division One table, with 31 points from their opening 24 games. They are level on points with 11th placed Woodford Town, with a game in hand.
