Flitwick II prevailed in a last-wicket thriller to keep up their promotion bid in Saracens Hertfordshire League Division 4A on Saturday.
Chasing 186 at Watford Town II, the Otters lost their way after Lewis Perrin (43) and Phil Gurney (42) put on an opening stand of 80.
But Shoaib Rashid (22no) and Ian Moxon-Booth (10no) came together at 162-9, and scrambled the decisive runs.
Perrin’s 3-55 and Matt Pateman’s 6-49 had earlier slowed Watford’s progress.
Flitwick made it back-to- back wins in the Championship with a seven-wicket demolition of Dunstable Town at the Hardy Vale.
Tom Russell’s run-out of Guy Hill sparked Dunstable’s collapse from 41-1 to 129 all out, with Nadeera Nawela (5-25) and George Thurstance (3-30) combining to run through the visitors.
Nawela rounded off the chase with four sixes in his 81 not out.
Flitwick III lost their unbeaten record in Division Nine A, going down by five wickets at Hatfield Hyde II.
A weakened side were put in, and could muster just 149, after Josh Malkani’s 45 had set a good early tone.
Flitwick were comfortably beaten in their Greene King Bedfordshire County League Premier Division match at Lutonian on Sunday.
The home side amassed 232-7 and, despite a typically feisty late 38 from Matthew Pateman, the Otters stumbled to 183 all out.
Flitwick II have now gone four weeks without completing a game in Division Three, after Kempston Hammers were unable to raise a side.
In Division Six, Nathaniel Spedding (2-21) bowled an economical early spell as Potton Town II made 218-8 against Flitwick III.
Shoaib Rehman clumped 58 in response, but the Otters fell 64 runs short.
