Bedfordshire were held to a high-scoring Minor Counties Championship draw against Buckinghamshire at Ampthill on Monday.
Beds made a massive 469-6 from 90 overs in their first innings thanks to Martin Weightman’s magnificent 123 not out.
The pitch continued to be a belter throughout as Bucks then replied with 518-4 from their 90 overs.
Conditions remained a delight to bat on during the third and final day too as Beds were 354-5 when bad light stopped play with George Thurstance hitting a superb 121.
