Blunham beat Flitwick to win Heritage Cup

Shabz Hussain hit a fantastic century as Blunham lifted the Heritage Cup after an 11 run win over Flitwick.

It was a captain’s innnings from Hussain at The Hollow on Friday, July 4.

His 109 came off just 55 balls as Blunham posted a total of 168-5 in their 15 overs. Danny Thompson was the pick of the Flitwick bowlers with four of the five wickets.

In reply Flitwick were all out for 157, George Thurstance and Tom Russell top scoring with 35 runs each. Hussain and Michael Pickard bagged three wickets apiece.
