Cleverly is the current WBO title holder, and is set to make the fourth defence of his title against Robin Krasniqi at Wembley Arena on April 20.
Yet the unbeaten Welshman, who has won all 25 of his professional fights, will interrupt his busy training schedule to help the Academy’s young boxers with an appearance at their newly-refurbished gym on New Bedford Road this Friday.
Coach Graham Bell said: “It’s absolutely massive and just so amazing for the kids. Cleverly is a huge name in British boxing, right up there with David Haye and Dereck Chisora.
“To have someone like that at our club is such a massive buzz. All of our young boxers will know who he is and will look up to him. Hopefully, they’ll be thinking, ‘If Nathan Cleverly can do it, then we can.’”
