Stewartby match in Maynard’s name

A commemorative bowls match was held at Kempston IBC between Hearts in Beds Cardiac Support Group and Stewartby Bowls Club in memory of Ted Maynard, who was an active member of both Associations.

The match was attended by 48 bowlers plus supporters and the game raised £335, which was passed to Hearts in Beds chairman Sid Luff, as Stewartby triumphed 135-117.
