The try count was 6-3 as Oakham refused to be quelled going over for three tries of their own.
But Biggleswade although never in top gear certainly deserved their win showing more verve and flair than the visitors from Rutland.
Biggleswade’s first try came from a pushover with James Smith getting the touchdown. Loz Hutchinson grabbed three, Kyle Hookway and Elliott Tunstall also went over.
