Bakare storms into 400m final
Lutonian Sabrina Bakare stormed into the finals of the 400m at the IAAF World Youth Championships in Ukraine yesterday evening, writes Mike Simmonds.
The 17-year-old smashed her personal best of 53.98secs, clocking 53.23secs to win her semi-final with the fastest time recorded by any of the finalists.
Bakare will now be going for gold in the final later today.
