The 38th Working Vintage Rally will be held at St Judes Farm in Haynes this weekend.
There will be over 100 old tractors on display, with many ploughing and cultivating part of the rally field. There will also be old cars, commercial vehicles, steam engines and corn mills on display.
This year there is a special theme, to mark 100 years since the start of the First World War and 75 years since the beginning of the Second World War. In addition to the many military vehicles that were involved directly in the war effort, tractors helped farmers feed the nation. A threshing machine dating from 1945 will be working.
Entry is £5, concessions £4, under 14s free and the event runs from 10am to 5pm both days. See www.ovtc.org.uk for more.
