Woman viciously assaulted during home break-in
Three men viciously assaulted a woman after conning their way into home to burgle the place.
They forced their way into the house on Chestnut Avenue, Bedford claiming they were there to check the water pipes.
Police have described the crime as a “heartless” attack, which took place between 7.30pm and 7.50pm on Monday, February 29.
They have released an efit in a bid to catch the crooks.
PC Lucy Craddock said: “We hope that issuing this image will lead to a possible identification of the suspect, or reveal new information, which could assist us in the investigation. This was a heartless attack and we are working hard to find those responsible.
