Woman threatened and robbed of mobile phone in Flitwick
A woman was threatened and robbed of her mobile phone outside the old leisure centre in Flitwick last Thursday. The incident took place shortly before 1am after an altercation involving a couple and a large group of people near the entrance to the old leisure centre on Steppingley Road, where a number of caravans were parked.
Detective Constable Karl Heywood, investigating, said: “We are aware that one of the victims attempted to flag down passing motorists during this incident, and I appeal to those passing and any other witnesses to come forward with whatever information they can provide to help us track down and prosecute this violent group.”
