Woman racially abused on board Gatwick Airport to Bedford train

Police are releasing CCTV images today after a woman was racially abused on board a Bedford train.

At approximately 12.30pm on 21 September, the woman was travelling on a Thameslink service between Gatwick Airport and Bedford when she was verbally abused by a man.

The man was threatening the woman with violence, saying that he had acid and intimated he had a knife. He also used racially offensive language.

Officers believe the man shown in this CCTV image may have information which could help them investigate.
