Officers were called to reports of a serious collision between a pedestrian and a lorry at the bus station in Greenhill Street, Bedford, at about 8am. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries.

PC Martin Longley said: “The collision occurred shortly after a bus had arrived at the depot this morning so it is likely people would have witnessed the incident. The investigation is ongoing and we would like to speak to anyone who may have any information to assist us in this case.”

If you have any information please call PC Longley on 101 or text 07786 200011.
