Witness appeal after teenager is attacked and robbed of his mobile phone

A teenager was attacked and robbed of his mobile phone in Flitwick on Monday, January 25.

The boy was riding his bike along Hinksley Road, towards St Paul’s Close, at around 12.45pm when he was approached by a man who demanded his mobile phone.

When the boy refused to hand over his phone, he was physically assaulted.

The man then made off towards The Avenue.

Detective Constable Surinder Ram said: “This was a nasty incident on a young innocent victim and we are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed it to get in touch.”

One man has been arrested in connection with the incident and subsequently bailed.
