Gritters to hit Bedfordshire tonight as temperatures hit freezing

As the temperatures are expected to drop to freezing tonight, Central Bedfordshire Council has announced it will grit the roads again.

A spokesman for the council said: "Tonight, we're expecting clear skies / low temperatures, and that means the almost inevitable gritting run. Though, it will be slight later, starting at 1am."
