Gritters to hit Bedford tonight and tomorrow as temperatures plummet

Expect to see gritters from 8pm onwards

Bedford Borough Council's gritters will be out in force tonight as the town is expected to endure sub-zero temperatures.

They plan to hit the town twice.

In a statement on Twitter, the council said: "Very cold this evening with sub-zero road temps.

"Gritting at 20.00 (8pm) tonight and 07.00 on 11 Feb. Secondary routes am on 11 Feb."
