Watch former BHS owner Sir Philip Green accuse Bedford MP Richard Fuller of 'staring at him' in the House of Commons

'‹Bedford and Kempston MP Richard Fuller had a squirming moment with former BHS owner Sir Philip Green today when he was accused of 'staring' at the tycoon in the House of Commons.

Sir Philip was giving evidence to the Work and Pension Select Committee about the BHS pensions ‘black hole’

Facing a semi circle of MPs, he interrupted the proceedings to ask Richard Fuller: “Sir, do you mind not looking at me like that all the time? It’s really disturbing.”

He added: “it’s just uncomfortable, that’s all.”

Mr Fuller replied: “I wasn’t quite just staring at you, but I don’t wish to you you uncomfortable.”

He was then forced to repeat himself when sir Philip did not hear.

The tycoon concluded the exchange with: “It’s just uncomfortable, sort of, you staring at me.”

The bizarre interlude was broadcast on Twitter by author and journalist Ian Fraser.
