The BedPop Record Shop, a free event which celebrates the resurgence of vinyl, returns next week for its fourth outing.
Vinyl and CD sellers, live bands and DJs will be popping up on Saturday, November 7, at The Ent Shed, Castle Road, with doors opening at 9am.
And to generate a festival vibe, there will be live music throughout the day from local bands, and DJs will be spinning vinyl between sets.
The BedPop Record Shop was born shortly after Bedford’s last independent record shop closed down in 2013. However, trader Darren Harte is filling the gap selling vinyl on his weekly market stall and through Thrift’ee on The Broadway.
“It can’t be long before one of our entrepreneurs takes a punt and opens a record shop,” said BedPop Record Shop founder, Alan Cooley. “BedPop’s job will then be done and long may the revival continue.”
