A fun dog show held in Wootton has raised funds for animals in need. The first show to be held at the Cock Inn pub in the village has raised £400 for the Albany Dog Rescue, based in Clapham. More than 200 people visited the event, held in sunshine during August, bringing the community together.
Landlady at the Cock Inn, Karen Ward, said: “It was a huge success and shows the community spirit is still there. Special thanks to Jollys Pet Store and Charlies mobile dog wash for their participation on what turned out to be a good day.”
