VIDEO: Meet the author of Arsenal fan book at Waterstones in Bedford

Times and Citizen reporter Layth Yousif, pictured, celebrates becoming a published author with a book signing in Bedford’s Waterstones.

A lifelong Arsenal fan, Layth used his encylopaedic knowledge of the team, along with a few trips to the British Library, to write Arsene Wenger: 50 Defining Fixtures with a foreword by Gunners and England playing legend Sol Campbell.

Layth said: “The initial print run sold out before the official publication date and I’ve had terrific reviews on Amazon and various football websites.

“I’ve even been featured on Sky Sports and Arsenal Fan TV. Tesco are already stocking it, and we are in talks with Arsenal Football Club to sell it globally. There’s even been talk of a Chinese version.

“I’m looking forward to chatting with a few Bedford-based Gooners this Saturday at Waterstones and talking all things Arsenal and Arsene Wenger!”

You can meet Layth and get a signed copy on Saturday, September 6, from 11am until 2pm.
