Beverley Rode and Lauren McBride decided to brave the shave and so far have raised more than £460 in a number of fundraisers, with funds being split between the Salvetes Care Home in Bedford, for a seaside trip, and Macmillan Cancer Support. Lauren’s father has been receiving treatment for an agressive form of Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Beverley is an activity co-ordinator at the care home. Lauren is doing a parachute jump in July and is also raising funds for Cancer Research. Donate at www.justgiving.com/BeverleyAnn-Rode and www.justgiving.com/Lauren-Mcbride2016
