His family have paid tribute to him saying he was a “cheeky charmer” and will leave a big hole in many lives.

Daniel was tragically killed after he was involved in a collision with a lorry on the eastbound carriageway of the A421 at around 3.50am on Thursday July 28.

Emergency services attended and sadly Daniel was pronounced dead at the scene.

Daniel’s family continued: “Daniel was affectionately known as ‘Bainy’ and was tragically taken too soon.

“He was known to many and loved by all that knew him. A cheeky charmer, who would light up the room as he entered.

“His smile and charismatic personality was enjoyed by all that were fortunate enough to have known him.

“Daniel was well known to be a polite, helpful and kind man. Many who knew Daniel have many funny and fond memories of their times spent together.

“Daniel was not only a great friend, he was a loving son, brother, uncle and grandson, but most of all a devoted father. He adored his daughters and step son and cared deeply for those he was close to.

“He will always be remembered as the heart and soul of all gatherings. He leaves a big hole in many lives.”

“The family would like to take this opportunity to express their gratitude for the overwhelming support we have received during this time.”
