Rail services disrupted after car collides with bridge near Bedford

Trains were suspended between Stewartby and Bedford initially with buses operating between Ridgmont and Bedford in both directions.

The car was eventually removed from the line allowing trains to run between Bedford and Bletchley.

However, there were still unable to call at Lidlington and Millbrook due to the ongoing issue with buses operating to and from these stations.
