One lane of the M1 closed near Bedford due to car fire
Lane one of the M1 between junction 13 at Brogborough and junction 14 at Milton Keynes will remain closed for the rest of the day.
Bucks Fire is working at the scene following a car fire.
Three lanes and three miles of congestion had originally been reported at 7.15am today (Monday).
But lane one remains shut with lane two also closing this evening for overnight resurfacing.
There are currently no significant delays on approach.
The car was 100% damaged by fire and approx 40m of the verge was damaged by fire.
