Northampton man killed on A421 near Bedford is named
The man who died in a road traffic collision on the A421 near Bedford yesterday (Sunday) has been named.
Jamie Bradley, 27, of Northampton, was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision between two vehicles which happened at about 5.15am on the westbound carriageway between the A603 Cardington and the A6 at Elstow.
In a statement, his family said: “Jamie was a much-loved son and a great friend to many. We are absolutely broken and we cannot imagine a life without him.”
Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the collision and are appealing for anyone who saw a silver Volkswagen Up and a white Mercedes Sprinter car transporter lorry prior to the incident, or witnessed the incident itself, to contact them on 101 with information quoting reference 74 of Sunday.
