Bedford Borough Council has warned drivers there may be some lane closures as it carries out the final traffic light upgrade at the junction of Cauldwell Street/ Prebend Street.
There will be temporary traffic lights in place with occasional lane closures as traffic detection equipment is installed next week.
These works are expected to take three weeks, and follow on from the upgrade of the lights at Kingsway / Cauldwell Street junction, which will be completed by the end of this week.
