It’s on the A421

The A421 is currently closed southbound between A1 and A4280 near Bedford due to a vehicle fire.

National Highways posted a tweet about 20 minutes ago (Monday).

It’s expected to be under control between 5pm and 5.15pm with traffic returning to normal between 5.45pm and 6pm.
