Expect delays as convoy with abnormal loads travels from Kempston to London
Beds Police are urging drivers to be extra cautious as its Roads Policing Unit will be escorting abnormal loads from Kempston tomorrow (Thursday).
In fact, the convoys from Kempston to London will run every Thursday and Sunday evening over the coming weeks until mid-December.
They’ll leave Kempston at 8pm and will travel on the westbound A421 before taking the southbound M1 to the M25.
Each one is expected to be completed by 9.30pm.
In a post on social media, Bees Police told drivers to expect delays and urged them to plan accordingly.
