Bridge now closed at The Branston Way near Bedford for repairs at Ladies Walk Viaduct
Don’t forget, maintenance works have now begun on The Branston Way in Kempston.
Last month we revealed how the major route would be temporarily shut for repairs.
The works – at Ladies Walk Viaduct on The Branston Way – began on Saturday (October 17) and will run until Monday, November 2.
The council’s engineering services team are refurbishing the bridge joint to prevent further deterioration. They will also be carrying out drainage maintenance, road resurfacing and re-marking.
The bridge will be closed at all times until the work is completed and traffic diversions will be in place.
