Disruption to train services between Bedford and Bletchley are going into a fifth day today (Monday March 2).

Faulty level crossing barriers near Stewartby means trains are unable to run along the full 16-mile route on the Marston Vale line.

Train operators London Northwestern are continuing to run a shuttle service on the rails between Bletchley and Ridgmont with mini-buses for passengers to complete journeys to and from Bedford.

Network Rail engineers are working to fix the problem. But a spokesman for LNWR said: "Disruption is expected until the end of the day on Monday."
