Libraries are hosting free workshops for people interested in tracing their First World War army ancestors.
Sessions are taking place at Flitwick on Monday, November 17 from 10.30am to midday and Ampthill on Friday, November 21 from 10.15am to 11.45am.
Councillor Ian Dalgarno, who oversees community services, said: “This year marks the centenary of the start of the First World War, which saw thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds from across Central Bedfordshire uniting to take part in the war effort.
“More than 1,500 young men from across the area were killed in the conflict, with many other injured. “
The workshop sessions are suitable for anyone comfortable using a computer.
