Crowds of crafters visited the Rufus Centre in Flitwick this weekend to attend the Stamperama event in aid of East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA).
EAAA teamed up with the Stamp Addicts in Bedfordshire to host the fun filled day.
More than 400 people attended the event and enjoyed 17 stalls full of crafty goodies ranging from stamping to scrapbooking making. Guests even had the opportunity to try the merchandise through workshops during the day.
Visitors also took part in a charity raffle run by EAAA volunteers, with prizes generously donated from the stallholders. Refreshments were available on the day in the form of delicious afternoon tea and sandwiches.
Over £6,000 was raised for the lifesaving charity, enough to fund two vital missions across East Anglia.
The EAAA team in Bedfordshire had excellent feedback throughout the day and are planning to run a bigger and better event next year.
EAAA Bedfordshire Fundraising Manager, Kay Marter, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to Stamp Addicts for working with us to create such a fantastic day, and to the Rufus Centre in Flitwick for hosting the event. We had a brilliant time working with our volunteers and the money that has been raised will go towards continuing our lifesaving work over Bedfordshire and the whole of East Anglia.’
