A 15 year old girl was attacked by a woman during an attempted robbery in Bedford Park on Friday evening, October 24.

The incident happened between 7pm and 8pm as the teenager and a friend were walking through Bedford Park close to Robinson Swimming Pool. The offender approached the victim saying that she liked her trainers before tackling the youngster to the ground in an attempt to steal her footwear.
