Stars turn out for charity gig

Central Beds Council is teaming up with stars of the West End to raise funds for Diabetes UK through a fantastic night of entertainment.

It Takes Two will be live at The Grove Theatre, on April 24, hosted by West End star Louise Dearman. She will bring some of the most successful leading men and women in musical theatre to Dunstable.

West End stars performing in the evening of duets will include: Louise Dearman, Julie Atherton, Rodney Earl Clarke, Balsamo Deighton, Siobhan Dillon, Killian Donnelly, Alex Gaumond, Georgina Hagen, Ruthie Henshall, Hugh Maynard, Sophia Ragavelas, Jon Robyns, Lauren Samules, Niall Sheehy, Ian Stroughair and Oliver Tompsett.

Diabetes UK is the chosen charity of Cllr David Bowater, Chairman of Central Bedfordshire Council.

He said: “We hope that the public come out and support us by attending the show and I would like to thank those who have donated to the Virgin Money Giving page, which you can access from the council website www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/chairman.”
