Slideshow: Bedford N.I.C.E. Comic Convention
Artists from the comic world shared their talents with enthusiasts at a convention in Bedford.
More than 750 people attended the two day N.I.C.E 2013 convention at Bedford Corn Exchange which saw appearances from internationally renowned artists of comics such as DC, Marvel and 2000AD.
Convention curator Jeff Chahal said: “All the feedback we’ve had seems to be really good.

Hide Ad“For a lot of people it was their first show, and they didn’t know what to expect. Probably the most popular thing was people getting sketches from the artists of their favourite characters.”
The convention attracted visitors from across Europe and the United States as well as locally and Jeff added: “Many people said how much they liked Bedford.”
The convention was sponsored by Bedford comic shop Close Encounters.
