People killed on the roads of Bedfordshire will be remembered during a special service this Sunday (November 15).
The service at St Pauls Church in Bedford from 3pm is being hosted by the Road Victims Trust, a charity that provides free emotional and practical support to those affected by road death.
Each year, more than 80 people are killed on the roads across Beds, Cambs and Herts.
Chief executive Mark Turner said: “The day will be an opportunity to remember all those killed on the roads, and will also serve as an opportunity to thank so many people, such as the emergency Services, who give so much to ease the plight of the victims. I would like to extend the invite to anyone who would like to come along and pay their own respects.”
